Inclusive Education Session with the Special Children   Special Children at Skills Training

A unique feature of our school is the inclusive Education programme. This is an experiment in integrating children with learning disabilities, who are accepted neither by Special Schools nor by the normal schools. We have about 20 differently abled children who are taken care of by special teachers. Each child is given the training that she / he needs. These children are brought into the school’s mainstream at playtime, music or art class or yoga. Some children are part of regular class helped by caregivers. Our programme has become quite successful and popular and we understand this by the number of people who approach us daily for help. We are fortunate to have Ms.G.Sivakumari and her team ( Pediatric Therapy Associates, Chennai ) as our consultants who periodically visit us, assess these children and give guidance to the special teachers in handling them. Recently we had a training programme for our special teachers. We feel that this is one programme which needs public support in terms of financial assistance.

Final Word

Stress free learning-teaching does not mean no learning or diluted learning . Our objective is to make learning a joyful experience

The reputation of a school does not depend on the pass percentage the school secures in the public exam.

It depends on the kind of education that is given to children and the manner in which they are trained as responsible citizens. What makes us stand out is the very rich experience children gain through the system of education we follow.
